2023 Chrysler 300
The Chrysler 300 is one of the last remaining full-size sedans. The current generation has been around since 2011, and the 2023 model will be its last year. For its last year, Chrysler is bringing back the 300C with a strong V-8 engine under the hood and upgrades in the cabin. Other than this addition, the Chrysler 300 will remain the same for 2023. Here's a look at some of the details about the available features and equipment.
Trim (Exterior)
The entry-level 300 Touring comes with 17-inch wheels, heated side exterior mirrors, and keyless entry. A step up to the Touring L adds dark-finished 20-inch wheels, fog lights, and an auto-dimming driver's side mirror. The sporty S trim has a sport-tuned suspension, and if you opt for the V-8 engine with this model, it adds an aerodynamic body kit and a panoramic sunroof. The new 300C has special 20-inch alloy wheels, front Brembo brakes, an adaptive suspension, and gloss black exterior trim elements.
Engine (Power)
The standard engine for the 300 is a 3.6-liter V-6 that puts out 292 horsepower under the hood of the Touring and Touring L and 300 horsepower with the S. The S also offers a 5.7-liter V-8 with 363 horsepower, and the 300C uses a 6.4-liter V-8 that puts out 485 horsepower. All three engines work with an eight-speed automatic transmission and come with rear-wheel drive.
Performance
Any of the engines provide the Chrysler 300 with plenty of power. The V-6 can get the large sedan to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds, but if you opt for the 5.7-liter V-8, it will hustle to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds, and the extra power gives it some extra personality. The ride in the 300 stays smooth and comfortable, but opting for the S gets you a stiffer suspension to maximize agility over comfort.
Interior
There's room for up to five people in the 300. The Touring has cloth upholstery, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Touring L adds heated front seats, leather upholstery, and a power-adjustable passenger seat, and you'll get paddle shifters and sport front seats in the S. Technology in the 300 starts with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite radio, and a six-speaker stereo. The 300C adds a 19-speaker Harman Kardon stereo system, and you can get an integrated navigation system and Alpine stereo in the S with the V-8 engine.
Safety Features
Every 2023 Chrysler 300 has a full suite of air bags, a rearview camera, and traction and stability control. The Touring L adds front and rear parking sensors, a blind-spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert, and the optional Safety Tec Plus Group for the Touring, Touring L, and S comes with forward collision warning, automatic braking, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam headlights, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The features in this group come standard with the 300C. You can also add the Comfort Group for adaptive headlights and an upgraded security alarm.
